Tonight marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. It is a time for celebration and reflection, a time when families and friends gather to "eat, pray and love". There are many variations of rituals observed today, leading up to sounding of the shofar, ringing in the Jewish New Year 5778.
