Everything is Turning Green!
From green beer, to green milkshakes, everywhere you look today, things are turning green! Whether you're Irish or not, it's a festive time to celebrate Irish and Irish American culture. Celebrations include prominent displays of the color green, eating and drinking, religious observances, and numerous parades. (Note: New York's parade was held on Saturday, March 16 in observance of the Sunday Sabbath.) The holiday has been celebrated on the North American continent since the late 18th century.
